As the 3C Media Qikr AI Pilot - Fall 2025 comes to an end, we want to thank all of the professors and students who took a chance on us and participated in our pilot. This was the first time we worked together with teachers in the classroom, and we could not be more grateful to everyone who joined and utilized the 3C Media Qikr AI platform! With that said, I want to go over some of the milestones we reached, lessons we learned, and our future plans.
Milestones Reached
In the pilot, we successfully launched in 9 colleges and onboarded more than 30 courses into our system, including schools like Santa Monica College and Merritt College! Professors created over 100 assistants to test our AI capabilities like RAG, prompt engineering, and guardrails. In addition, many professors achieved nearly universal adoption, with the vast majority of students actively using 3C Media Qikr AI throughout the semester for assignment support and test preparation. From the ground floor to working closely with more than 30 professors, it was a true team effort. We sincerely appreciated every step of the journey from carefully curating prompts with professors to verifying that the correct sources are cited in the response. Thank you to the 3C Media Qikr AI Pilot - Fall 2025 participants!
Lessons Learned
Here are two key takeaways we learned from the 3C Media Qikr AI Pilot - Fall 2025.
Teachers truly care about the quality of the responses generated by their assistants. They feel AI assistants are a reflection of their teaching style so they want generated responses that are reliable, safe, and accurate. They don’t want their assistants to hallucinate, use unreliable sources, or pull from the wrong material. Just like our team, teachers are eager to combat those issues in generative AI and provide students with reliable AI assistants that are grounded to their class material and include page-level citations.
Another lesson we learned is that educators tend to have their own unique teaching styles and that translates to their assistants. One teacher may be happy with the assistant giving out the answer right away and, on the other hand, another teacher wants the assistant to provide a Socratic response that helps spark the student’s critical thinking. Just like in real life, one size does not fit all and it is highly dependent on the use case, subject matter, and teaching style. As a result, we are committed to working closely with educators to come up with simple, user-friendly solutions to smooth over the assistant creation process.
Future Plans
We are excited to announce that we are continuing our partnership with 3C Media Solutions and launching a pilot for Spring 2026! We have huge plans for 2026 and we cannot wait to share them with you all! We look forward to continuing our mission to reduce teacher workloads, improve instructional delivery, and drive student academic growth.
